DAULETBEKOV AMANTAY

DAULETBEKOV AMANTAY (1917-43), staff sergeant, Hero of the Soviet Union (1943). Graduated from Almaty Veterinary institute (1939). In 1939 it is called in armed forces. In 1942 on Bryansk front. Commander 1180 artillery regiments of the 13th anti-tank army. On July 9, 1943 near Ponyri's small town between the railway Eagle and Kursk stations in fierce fight Dauletbekov's gunners got to an environment. Having destroyed 29 tanks, 13 machine guns and to 200 soldiers, heroes died in hand-to-hand fight.
